Vaping cannabis concentrates or cannabis oils have been around for a good period of time now. They’re a great alternative if you are not too fond of the smell or taste of cannabis.
Vapes burn the concentrate/oil at a controlled temperature which gives off a clean and smooth vapor to inhale. If you are new to the cannabis world or you are a veteran, vaping is a great choice if you are looking for a cleaner and discrete way to smoke. They come in many strains and flavors to choose from.
When purchasing vape sets they will vary in brand and price. There are many good brands such as STIIIZY, THClear, Heavy Hitters ( my personal favorite), and ROVE; just to name a few. They will either come in half gram or a full gram doses. Some brands do carry 2 gram doses. These vape sets can run you anywhere between $30 and $80. Most dispensaries carry disposable pens which can be great if you just want to try it out for the first time. Once the concentrate runs out you can dispose of the pen. But if you are looking for the whole set, it will come with the cartridge and come with a battery pack.
Vape cartridges do come in different strains which are Sativa, Indica, hybrid, and CBD.
They also come in different strain names as well. For example Girl Scout Cookies, Pineapple Express, and Gorilla Glue. When purchasing strains for vaping, keep in mind these are all concentrated oils you will be smoking and it’s a different high than smoking flower. You are getting a direct hit of THC and CBD without any of the tar or other chemicals that come from smoking flower.
Remember, if you are vaping for the first time you want to stick to something that has a low THC percentage. Slowly work your way up. If this is your first time trying a vape pen consult your budtender who will explain any quesitons.
